Palavan
A Territory Building and Abstract Strategy game for 1–2 players, of 5–30 min and light on rules. It plays with tile placement, map addition and square grid. Recommended from age 8. The BoardGameGeek community likes it best with 1 players.
A paradise island landscape is regrettably separated into different pieces. The aim is to connect the islands again! At the basic level, the South Seas puzzle has multiple solutions and many spellbinding panoramic views of the island. A player can choose to set the goal higher in challenging game variants in search of the perfect island. In addition to a mind-teasing game of solitaire, two players can take turns place their tiles in Palavan, with each trying to lay out all their personal tiles while making life difficult for the opponent. Life can sometimes get mean, even in an island paradise... —description from the publisher
