Qwords

A Dice and Word Game game for 1–15 players, of 20 min and light on rules. It plays with spelling. Recommended from age 8.

The word game Qwords, first released as Kreuzwort, features four letter dice in different colors and one black die that features a combination of two colors on each side. On a turn, you roll the five dice, then see which colors are showing on the black die. Each player chooses one of the letters showing on the two indicated letter dice and writes one of them in an empty space in the 5x5 grid on their player sheet. After 25 turns, players score for the longest word they've created in each row and column on their sheet, earning 1-3-6-10 points for a word 2-3-4-5 letters long. Whoever scores the most wins.
