Split It
A Card Game and Abstract Strategy game for 2–4 players, of 10–20 min and light on rules. It plays with set collection, voting and auction / bidding. Recommended from age 8.
Bid against other players to collect cards from the common row. Think strategically when you split the row of cards, and as you bid, evaluate your opponents' goals carefully. Lower numbers might be easy to win, but mean lower points! Higher numbers earn more points, but are harder to earn! Split It is played in a series of rounds. In each round, the dealer reveals number cards, then divides the row into three parts. Each player then secretly chooses one of these parts. If more than one player chooses the same part, no one gets these cards and the dealer splits this part into smaller units, with these tied players choosing again. Your goal is to collect as many cards of the same number as possible. The game continues until all number cards have been played, then whoever has the most cards of the same number receives these as many points as this number. The player with the most points wins.
